SHAD, 25 years of expansion

It was 25 years ago when a family from the north-west of Barcelona decided to carry out a dream, improving the way of traveling by motorcycle. Thus SHAD was born, and with it its first suitcase, the 22l. Since then, more than 1,500 products have been developed with the same objective, placing itself as a benchmark brand among motorcycle accessories.

Since our foundation, design and innovation have been core values in SHAD. The development of new solutions for motorcycles and the registration of own patents, 3 in the last 3 years, show our great interest and focus on R & D & I.

This commitment with the design and technology has been rewarded recently. SHAD has received the International Design Award Red Dot 2017, awarded to the SH58X and SH59X suitcases for its Expandable concept, whose interior volume can be extended up to three different positions. This award is in addition to the Red Dot 2015 and the German Award 2017, prizes awarded to the SH36 suitcases, that place our company as the most awarded brand of motorcycle suitcases.

With its headquarters in Barcelona, SHAD provides worldwide coverage. The company has an extensive commercial network, having presence in more than 70 countries in 5 continents. In addition, it has two production centers in China (Shanghai) and Indonesia (Jakarta), which support the international operations of the company.

Thanks to this wide network and to our technical, commercial and sectoral experience, at SHAD we celebrate the 25th anniversary by continuing our expansion, with the aim to reach new international markets. A great year for the company, that takes part at the Superbikes World Championship as a technical supplier and participates in 15 trade fairs of the sector distributed between Asia, America and Europe.

With these good prospects, at SHAD we intend to keep for many years our commitment to satisfy drivers with changing needs around the world.
